It’s such a lovely day!

It’s so awesome outside. There’s just the right amount of sunlight, the right amount of cool breeze. Like how it is before it rains? just not completely so. This is the kind of weather I love. So what am I doing inside? I don’t have spare keys to lock the house if I go out. But I did anyway for a while, it was too nice to stay inside.

The Muslim Community here is really cool. It’s small but it’s like family. There are always little get-togethers and fund raisers and fun stuff to do that everyone organizes (usually the young people). There’s the ‘Young Muslim Sisters Meet’ every other Saturday which is meant to bring awareness among young Muslim girls, being comfortable about your identity, discussing personal stuff etc — all in view of Islam. It’s really nice. Oh and here, all Muslim girls are called Sisters and Muslim men are called Brothers. (Just in case your wondering)

I installed PS Elements, it’s like a mini PS and but most importantly it works on this computer! So now, when I’m free I can design something. -grins- Yeshh I can’t go without designing. Which reminds me, I’ll be adding a non-anime (I’m not a great fan of anime) MSN Icons section for visitors. So look for that in the future.

The other day, I met some really really old friends of mine. Like when I was little. It made me realize how drastically and yet how little we change as we grow older.

Airplanes. Oh how I hate them. They make me throw up going through turbulence and ache in places I didn’t even know existed (that’s not too good is it?). I’m so glad to be on solid ground though. The thought of gigantic gasoline-fueled flying machines isn’t exactly very comforting.

So here I am drinking my coffee and shivering because I had to take a cold shower since I couldn’t find the hot water button/switch… thingy. And silly me forget to ask my dad before he left for work. Which reminds me, it’s kinda scary here being alone.

I miss my baby sis, I have no one to annoy or tease or more or less talk to… and my kitten. And my friends & family back home. And people I chat with on MSN. For some reason, MSN messenger won’t work and I have to use webmessenger. This computer is so slow, which is ironic because the Internet is surprisingly fast. Odd combo if you ask me. Looks like AEA would have to continue on it’s hiatus until I get back home, since even starting PS would be mere suicide.

Thanks for the comments previously.. now that I read that entry over again, it seems very vague, but sometimes it’s so liberating to give free reign to your thoughts.
