Those of you who know know me, would probably know that I have a occasionally bake sweet nothings. So when I set out to make some gorgeous looking tarts today, I really did not think they’d fail so bad. I actually thought I’d be sitting here writing an entry on how good they turned out, especially since I’ve made these before. Oh, the irony.

Anyway, since I’d planned to share photos, I might as well show you how they went wrong.

I stopped trying when the tarts broke… should have known something was funny when the dough wouldn’t roll out properly. But then again, I wasn’t very patient taking them out either. It’s no wonder they broke as badly as they did. Here’s the whole process.

However, what it was lacking in looks, it made up in taste. Bearing that in mind, I’m going to give it another try tomorrow. Plus, there’s so much custard left over. >.>

And that would close the chapter of yet another baking disaster.
