Well to me, Lin makes just as much sense as Lynn but as a person’s name, Lynn is something I see more often. The Ay wasn’t a bad thing per say; I mean, you should have fully just put eh instead of ay (though I wonder if that’s a Canadian thing lol).

Oh you know what… Tammy’s first impression is more accurate than what I typed. For me it’s A-lin. After Camlinh’s comment I realised that Ay-lin could be taken as Aye-lin, which it’s not. The A is pronunced simply like the alphabet, not Ah or aye.

alien? XD I can’t say I’ve tried pronouncing like that… I’ve always pronounced it as ah-eh-lynn if that makes any sense. Now that I think about it, it was always a tad awkward when I said it outloud… I mean I remember in the beginning I did think it was just a-lynn and totally ignored the e… who know I’d screw over afterward xD
