Distractions.

There’s this thing about whining kids that’s so distracting…
My baby sister got this stuffed frog, that she named Donkey. I used to steal the cute thing from her and she’d let me. But now, the frog isn’t as cute as it was before, it’s less poof-ier and more wrinkly. And his face gets pimply when you squeeze him. Guess who’s to blame? Exactly.
So what does a good responsible older sister do to satisfy a needy albeit slightly strange younger sister? Why, she gets her a new one of course!
Heh, did I mention she was broke? So does she give it to her? Well you see, while she was staring at the green blob smiling at her, she remembers the whining, complaining and pointing of fingers. So, after tweaking it a bit more, she gives her this instead. Excuse the bad frame and terrible attempt at the ribbons.
On a side note, typing in third person can be confusing. Typing Donkey instead of frog is even more so. But, sometimes you can’t help what you name. I never intended Baby’s name to be Baby, the name stuck. As did Donkey (I hope). In fact, the first cat we’ve ever owned in India was called “Buju” which is basically a nonsensical baby word in Hindi/Urdu. Looking back, it’s a silly name for a cat who is practically the great great great grandmother of all the cats and kittens we have had since. But I digress.
There is a thing about distractions and another about allowing yourself to get distracted. I’m prone to the later.
